Kimberly Beverly is a native Philadelphian and a self proclaimed people person. She wrote her first poem at the age of eight. She always had a desire to entertain people. 

As a teenager she was a Rapper. This continued into her adulthood into the 80's. Kimberly recorded a record entitled  West Oak Lane Jam which referenced the Philly neighborhood in which she grew up . It received airplay on a popular radio program. She later recorded Cherry Pop which received airplay and She was featured in a the local newspapers such as The Sunday Sun and the Philadelphia Tribune. Kimberly performed at local venues struggling for notariaty 1997. 

While working as a Philadelphia police officer, Kimberly  began a book which was self published intitled "If Loving Two is Wrong" in 2009. The sequel is in progress. 

Her sister who had a beautiful singing voice was an inspiration to her to keep pushimg as an entertainer. In 1995 she transitioned from cancer.

As the neice of Frankie Beverly, Kimberly was inspired by his music and career path. She has used his music as background in a few of her raps.

The latest song is a colabration of one of Maze's hit songs "Golden Time of Day". She is also inspired by her parent's guidance and down to earth demeanors. Through her struggle to be a successful entertainer, she learned that her whole approach had been wrong.

She now keeps her eyes on the Lord and follows Him on the path that is guided by Him.

Kimberly  was born August 1966. Married to the Lord, and has a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism.
